When the Pittsburgh Steelers took on the Baltimore Ravens at home in Week 9, one of the most notable elements of the game was defensive end and Super Bowl champion T.J. Watt wearing a unique jersey. The jersey is made out of gold with an inverted team logo on the front, which is a nod to Watt’s childhood favorite team – the Houston Oilers.
Watt says that he wanted to wear something different for this game specifically, and he is not alone in his admiration for the Oilers. The Oilers were one of only two teams to defeat both the Steelers and Watt’s childhood favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys in their respective playoffs during his youth.
