NCAA 1 Indiana Hoosiers Custom Name Max Soul Shoes
The NCAA has announced that the Indiana Hoosiers will be wearing custom-made Max Soul shoes this year. The shoes are designed to commemorate the late soul singer, and will be a part of the team’s marketing efforts. This is an interesting move by the NCAA, as it sends a strong message about how serious they take basketball and Indianapolis in particular.
In a season that has seen several memorable moments, the Indiana Hoosiers have come out on top with a win over Notre Dame. The jersey of the player who led the team in scoring was also given away to one of the players on the team. In the fallout from the NCAA’s sanctions against Indiana, the school’s fans have put together a custom name for their team that is sure to set them apart from other programs. The name? “Max Soul Shoes.”
The 1st-place Hoosiers will be known as the “Max Soul Shoes” team, and their opponents will likely copy their style. The custom name was inspired by one of basketball’s most iconic players, Maxey Mourning.
