Wow! Who would have thought a Christmas ornament could be that this cool? It’s a golden retriever, of course. This dog has been an essential part of the North American family for more than 100 years and it is one of those breeds where some people can’t tell you how many they own since there always seems to be another favorite.
Most famously, this breed was featured in 101 Dalmatians and countless other films…
✔️ It is constructed of mica plastic.
✔️ The printed design is clear, non-faded
✔️ 85mmx85mm mica plate
✔️ The ornament can be used as home decor or to make thoughtful presents for relatives and friends during special occasions, such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, birthdays…
✔️ It is ideal for expressing your personal style.
It was Christmas eve and I had to make a decision. Do we buy my dad’s favorite dog on the gold retriever ornament, or do we get him something else? He loved his golden retrievers and they were always with him when he wasn’t at work. If it wasn’t for this golden retriever ornament on our tree every year, then I don’t think that Dad would have been as proud of our family as he is now. It has been six years since he passed away but the one thing that never changed was how much love Dad had for these dogs. After thinking about it, I know what to do:I’m going to buy this product because my dad deserves it!
The little golden retriever named Rudy was so excited to find out what his Christmas gift would be. Ever since he was a puppy, he loved to eat ornaments and chew them up. He knew that the shiny red bow on top of the present would drive him crazy with excitement as soon as he saw it. When his owner finally opened the package and pulled out a glittery gold ornament with “Rudolph” written across one side in big green letters, Rudy realized why she had gotten this for him–she wanted Rudy’s teeth to stay nice and clean all winter!
“Amber, I have something for you.” Fifi’s dad said. “What?” Amber asked excitedly. “I’m not telling! You just have to open it!” He laughed and handed her a Christmas ornament that had a picture of their Golden Retriever on the front holding an apple in his mouth.
It was Christmas day and Thomas had just opened the one and only present he got for this year. His parents were out of town so they didn’t have time to get him anything, but he knew what it was as soon as he saw the shiny paper with snowflakes on it. It was a golden retriever ornament! He loved his new ornament because all he wanted for Christmas was a dog like his friend Jack has.
Golden Retriever Christmas Gift Ornament
“Ross, what are you doing?” “I’m trying to find the perfect ornament for our Christmas tree this year.” “Why? All of these seem like decent enough choices. What’s wrong with the one at the top?” “It’s called ‘Golden Retriever’. I don’t think it’d be appropriate.”
The old man shuffled out of the snow and into the small pet store. The only other person in the store was a young girl who seemed to be more interested in her phone than anything else. He took a deep breath, feeling his heart beat faster with every step he took towards the dog ornaments. His hands were shaking as he reached for one that looked just like Lucky, his Golden Retriever back home on their farm. She’s been gone three years now and it still feels like yesterday when she left them forever.
He knew this ornament would never bring Lucky back, but maybe some part of him could believe that maybe they’d get another golden retriever someday and at least remember what she used to look like
“This ornament is so beautiful!” said the child, holding it up to the light. “It’s so shiny! Can I be really careful with it?”
The Christmas tree was almost done. It was hard to find a spot for this last ornament but they knew that since they had spent time picking out what would work best on top of the tree, they owed themselves this one special decoration. The mother nodded her head and watched as her son gently placed the golden retriever at the very top of the tree, next to Santa Clause himself. She smiled when she saw how proud he looked at his accomplishment and reached over to tousle his hair.
