Donkey Christmas Gift Ornament

It was Christmas Eve and the snow fell gently in a way that made people feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The children were jumping around in excitement, waiting for Santa to come by with his sleigh full of presents. They had been good this year, so they knew he’d be coming tonight! But who could forget about the animals! Poor Rudolph’s nose was red from staying up late because donkeys can’t see very well at night. He didn’t want to disappoint any of the kids by not delivering their present on time. “Rudolph!” said one of the elves sitting next to him. “You’re not fooling anyone with that fake nose.”

It was Christmas morning and all of the animals were excitedly running around trying to find their gifts. The donkey had been lost in a huge pile of hay for months, not being found until just now. He felt so happy that he had finally made it home! He looked up towards a big tree where his present had been placed and saw a shiny box with a ribbon on top. Every other animal there crowded around him as he struggled to make his way through them, but they wouldn’t move because they wanted to see what would happen when he opened it! Jill wanted to give her mom for Christmas this year an ornament of a donkey. She was heartbroken when she found out that the only thing they had at the store was a Santa, which is what everyone else wants their parents to have on their tree.
