We walked through the mall, gazing at all of the stores and what they had to offer. We had been looking for hours with no luck of finding something that met our criteria. I was starting to get discouraged, but when my eyes landed on a store down an unfamiliar side-street it seemed like my destiny was leading me there. The sign in front said “Dog Lover’s Store”, so we knew exactly where we were headed. This place felt different than any other store in the mall – it had soul, you know? And then when I looked up at their decorations…my heart melted! They’d made them all from doggy photos submitted by customers over time! There were pictures of every kind of dog imaginable with holiday sweaters

“I don’t know what I was expecting from this present.” “Hey, look at that!” “It’s a Terrier! Oh my gosh, it’s an Airedale Terrier. That is so cute! What do you think?” “Oooohhh yeah. I love dogs don’t you? I wonder if they’re going to have one of those for me.”

“Lionel, I’m so excited for Christmas!” Airedale Terrier exclaimed. “What are you getting me?”
He was always so good to her and she wanted to give him something in return this special time of year. She had no idea what he would want though, as she was just an ornament on his tree.
She spent the rest of the day looking through all sorts of stores around town but nothing seemed quite right for Lionel’s tastes.
